Police have chosen to stop the development of substantial vehicles from 5 am to 9 am on different roadways in the Pune region utilized by ‘warkaris’ (lovers of Lord Vitthal) to go to Alandi for the following five days. This comes following the deadly mishap on Pune-Mumbai Old Highway in which four ladies warkaris were killed.
