Statewide restrictions imposed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic will be cancelled in Uttarakhand with effect from November 20, according to Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA). “Wearing of masks will be mandatory at public places, workplaces and on public transport. Spitting at public places is illegal and will result in fine and punishment,” the authority said in a statement.
