As many as 54 people have died so far amid heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, ANI reported. Notably, 19 people have been injured and five are missing due to rain-related incidents. As many as 45 people died on October 19, with 28 alone in the Nainital district. On October 18, eight people died with Pauri Garhwal district reporting three deaths.
