Mumbai: In a chilling incident in Mumbai, a woman who fell off a moving train on Sunday was saved by passengers at Mumbai’s Vasai Road Railway Junction, and the incident was caputured by a CCTV footage.
The two-minute video shared by news agency ANI shows the woman trying to board the slow moving train along with co-passengers but she loses control of her steps and accidently gets stuck between the moving train and the track.
The woman, who managed to hold the door of the train tightly, could have lost life after falling in the tracks.

The video presents a scary sight as the woman disappears under the train to emerge after almost turning around. Several onlookers reached the spot to rescue the woman. Even policemen also rushed to help the woman stuck in the situation after which the train comes to a halt. The woman can be seen surrounded by crowd of passengers who had rushed to offer help.
The Vasai Road Railway Junction is located on the Western line and Vasai Road-Roha line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network.
Such incidents are a common sight in Mumbai locals. In a recent incident, another woman standing in the middle of a railway track was rescued by an alert policeman at the Vasai Road Railway Junction. The local train was seen approaching the woman who was rescued.
In this particular incident, the Dahanu-Andheri local train was approaching the railway station when policeman Eknath Naik, who was on patrolling duty, saw the woman standing in the middle of the tracks. Naik was quick enough to signal the motorman to stop the train. Running towards the woman, Naik pulled the woman towards the platform saving her life.
