OTT maker Ashish Bhavsar has denied the assault charges collected against him by a model. Considering the FIR a counterblast, the maker delivered an assertion denying the allegations and expressed that the model and her ‘three assistants’ have documented the FIR just to save themselves after his past FIR against them for supposed blackmail and snatching.

Ashish Bhavsar affirmed that the model and her ‘three assistants’ pre-owned criminal power and compromised him with bogus assault charges after he had documented a FIR against them. His assertion read, “I deny the bogus charges of assault evened out against me. This allegation and FIR documented against me is absolutely bogus and has been done as a counterblast to my past FIR for blackmail snatching and normal goal against the young lady and her three accessories. They nectar caught me and utilized criminal power to undermine me with bogus assault claims, #metoo assault via web-based media and went to the degree of kidnapping me in my own vehicle and took a huge amount of cash and were requesting more. At the point when I documented a FIR against them, this bogus FIR of assault has been recorded as a bit of hindsight with the main aim to save themselves. This is only the abuse of IPC 376 as it has been found as of late. I have full confidence in the general set of laws of our nation and am certain that reality and my honesty will win at last.”

As per a report in ETimes, the FIR was documented against the maker under segments 376 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code. Revealing insight into the matter, the police expressed that the casualty had blamed that the 42-year-old web series maker had assaulted her on the appearance of projecting her in a film. Also, the grumbling purportedly expressed that Ashish took steps to kill the model in the event that she told anybody.

In light of the model’s protest, a FIR was enrolled against Ashish at the Goregaon police headquarters in Mumbai in March this year. Ashish showed up under the steady gaze of the court and has been shipped off care until September ninth.
