The Supreme Court while hearing the matter pertaining to the October 3 violence in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri told the Uttar Pradesh government, “We waited till 1am for report on the violence.” The court said this after the UP government informed that the report has been submitted. “How can we read if it gets filed last minute,” the court added.
