Bombay High Court on Thursday commuted the death penalty given to three men found guilty of gangraping a 22-year-old photojournalist in the abandoned Shakti Mills in 2013 in Mumbai to life imprisonment. “Death puts an end to the concept of repentance…They deserved religious imprisonment for life to repent for the offence committed by them,” the court said.
