Delhi Police on Thursday began removing barricades at the Tikri border where farmers have been protesting against the Centre’s three farm laws, a senior officer said. The cement barricades are still there and the road remains closed for commuters, the officer added. There are plans to open emergency routes at the Tikri and Ghazipur borders, Delhi Police said.
