It’s my duty to choose scripts that portray women with dignity: Bhumi

Entertainer Bhumi Pednekar says she needs to do films that depict ladies effectively and she is appreciative to the chiefs she has teamed up with in light of the fact that they had a similar vision for cultural change.

Bhumi began her excursion in Hindi film with the hit film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ in 2015. She was then seen in movies, for example, ‘Latrine: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Child Chiriya’, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, ‘Bala’, and ‘Sandh Ki Aankh’ among others.

The entertainer is currently anticipating her impending line up, which incorporates ‘Mr. Lele’, ‘Badhaai Do’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

The entertainer feels “enormously lucky” that she have chiefs who had a stunning vision of depicting ladies with a particular goal in mind that impacts society decidedly.

She said: “I’m lucky for every one of the chances that permitted me to play such characters who defended themselves and society. I associated with my characters at a more profound level and perhaps that is the reason individuals cherished them as well.”

“For that, I’m obligated to my chiefs and makers who considered me to be fit to address such present day Indian ladies on screen.”
