Haryana government on Thursday reduced the VAT on petrol and diesel. “Both petrol and diesel will be cheaper by ₹12 per litre,” CM Manohar Lal Khattar tweeted. This comes after the Centre announced excise duty cut on petrol and diesel by ₹5 and ₹10. Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim, Karnataka, Gujarat and Goa reduced prices of both the fuel by ₹7/litre.
