The Ministry of Jal Shakti tweeted a picture of a boat in a Meghalaya river with water so clean and transparent that the boulders at the river bottom were clearly visible. The ministry wrote, “One of the cleanest rivers in the world. It is in India. River Umngot…in Meghalaya state. It seems as if the boat is in air.”
