Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur have arrested seven people, including district presidents of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party, after a 17-year-old girl alleged that she was raped by 27 men and her father for five years. The victim’s relatives and local residents are among the accused. Police have recorded her statement before a magistrate.
