Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday made four guarantees, all identified with power, to individuals of Goa.
Kejriwal said that with the arrangement of 300 units of free power to each family, around 87% of families in Goa will get zero bill.
He added that he had guaranteed a 24-hour continuous force supply in the public capital subsequent to being chosen as Chief Minister by fixing the transformers and wires in each road.
While tending to a question and answer session in Panaji, the AAP’s public convener made the accompanying four guarantees:
- 300 units of free power for each family each month
- Old power bills to be postponed totally
- Zero force cut in Goa
- Free power for farming purposes, if AAP structures government in the seaside state

“Every family will get 300 units liberated from cost each month. The bill will go to your home… 87% of Goa will begin getting a zero power bill. This is my assurance,” Kejriwal said, adding that the force charging framework will get going with a “fresh start”.
“We have done this in Delhi, we are not just talking,” said the AAP boss.
“Before we came to control in Delhi, there were 7-8 hours of force cuts in the mid year. There are issues in the Goa appropriation network actually like in Delhi. We changed the transformers and links. It required over two years, yet today we get 24-hours power. There is power yet it simply doesn’t reach homes,” he said.
