Pune Metro has led a preliminary attempt with bicycles locally available trains between Sant Tukaram Nagar and Phugewadi stations. “Maha-Metro has taken a progressive step…Passengers while driving can convey bicycles installed trains,” Maha-Metro representative Hemant Sonawane said. “For cyclists, different signages and guidance sheets will be kept at stations and on trains,” Maha-Metro MD Brijesh Dixit said.
