World’s richest person Elon Musk has now sold over half of the Tesla stock he promised to offload after Twitter users voted ‘yes’ to his poll. Of the 10% stake or 17 million shares, Musk has so far offloaded 9.2 million shares worth $9.9 billion. He sold shares worth $1.05 billion and also exercised 2.15 million stock options on Tuesday.
