Batter Shreyas Iyer smashed a hundred on his Test debut, reaching the three-figure mark off 157 deliveries in the first innings against New Zealand in the Kanpur Test. The 26-year-old became the 16th Indian cricketer to slam a hundred on Test debut. Overall, it is Iyer’s 13th hundred in first-class cricket.
