The Centre on Thursday said Kerala has the most number of active COVID-19 cases in the country with 1,61,596 cases that account for 53.57% of the total active cases in India. It is followed by Maharashtra with 43,544 active COVID-19 cases, Tamil Nadu with 17,027 cases, Mizoram with 15,638 cases, Andhra Pradesh with 13,796 cases and Karnataka with 13,650 cases.
