The Uttarakhand government has instructed all CMOs to conduct RT-PCR COVID-19 testing for people entering the state at all border entry points, state DG Health Dr Tripti Bahuguna said. “If any passenger coming from outside the state shows symptoms of COVID-19, then he or she should be tested and later put under 14-day quarantine if they test positive,” Bahuguna added.
