A judge of the Allahabad High Court volunteered to pay ₹15,000 fees for admission at IIT (BHU) Varanasi for a Dalit student facing financial issues due to her father’s illness. Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh also directed the college to create an extra seat to accommodate the student. She’d approached the court after failing to get an extension for fee payment.
